Leslie Duong - Patient Care Manager
My name is Leslie. Going from engineering field to dental profession is a drastic change in my career. I have been working at Sun Orthodontics as a Patient Care Manager for the past decade. Our facility is located in the heart of Rancho Bernardo with wonderful doctor and staff. I feel fortunate to be a part of the team. It's very fascinating to see how orthodontics with the innovation of technology can transform the people's lives physically and psychologically. It's magic! After each busy working day, I usually reserve some quiet time for myself either reading, listening to music, or thinking. The sounds of the ocean, the running water in the river, the beautiful scenery inspires my deepest thought and transforms me into a poet. Working with flower arrangements or creating artworks are my favorite hobbies.
Danielle Lowe - Amazing Assistant
Hi, My name is Danielle Lowe, I am a southern California native and have lived in Escondido for most of my life. I’m a recent graduate of UEI college where I obtained my Dental Assisting Certification. In addition to being the Dental Assistant here at Sun Orthodontics, I am also a former patient of Dr. Duong’s. I am so pleased to have the opportunity to learn and grow in the office that gave me my beautiful smile. Dr. Duong is the best at what she does because in addition to her vast clinical skill, she truly wants every patient to love their smile! When I’m not working I love to take walks with my 2 great dogs or take a relaxing jog after a long day.
Mica Coburn - Dental Assistant
My name is Mica Coburn and I have been a part of the Sun Orthodontics team since 2006 as a student intern. I am responsible for assisting the team in whatever they may need in order to render the most dedicated patient care. Transitioning from patient to intern has given me an interesting look into orthodontic care and had inspired me to go into dentistry as well. Currently, I attend the University of California Irvine in the school of Biological Sciences. I plan to graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Science and a minor in Film in hopes of continuing onto post-graduate school for dentistry. When not studying or working at the office, I enjoy making films, meeting new and interesting people, as well as getting involved at my school and in the community.
Bianka Reyes - Treatment Coordinator
Hello, My name is Bianka Reyes and I am the Treatment Coordinator here at Sun Orthodontics. I bring with me over 12 years of experience working in the Medical field. I feel extremely fortunate to have found my home here with Dr. Duong and the rest of the staff. It’s a great feeling to work somewhere that has such fantastic patient care. I love knowing I have contributed to helping someone to love their smile! I have lived in San Diego all my life and could not imagine living anywhere else. I live in Rancho Bernardo with my 3 wonderful kids. When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my kids. We love to go out, hiking, jogging, or just simply enjoy the outdoors, but our favorite time of the year is football season.
Cecchetia - Public Relations Coordinator
Hi Everyone! My name is Cecchetia and I am the Public Relations Coordinator here at Sun Orthodontics. I have over 8 years of experience in marketing, event planning and public relations. I am extremely excited to be a part of such an amazing team. Working with Dr.D has been a great experience. She treats every patient like family and changes lives one smile at a time.Originally from North Carolina , I have called San Diego home for the past 7 years. I currently live in Spring Valley with the love of my life Michael. On my days off, I love to spend time with sister and nephew. I enjoy travelling ,exploring different cultures, and meeting new people.
